Process Description:
Data is updated on a continuous basis. The IMAPDATA.VIEW_WQDE_MON_LOC2 Oracle view (from COMPASS) was generated to aggregate all necessary attribute fields that comprise the layer, including xy coordinates in the NJ State Plane Coordinate (NJSPC) system. This view was used as a source "table" for an ArcGIS model that consisted of the following steps: 1) Make an XY event layer using the NJSPC easting (X) and northing (Y) values (US feet). 2) Save the event theme to a layer file. 3) Copy the features from the layer file to an ArcSDE feature class. 4) Use the IDENTITY spatial overly tool along with the LJACOBY.STMUNHUC14ZIP GIS layer to supply additional spatial attribute values to the feature class. 5) Delete all of the unnecessary attribute fields that resulted from IDENTITY process step from the feature class.
